ESI removed the existing bluestone cap, and adjacent brick along the front entrance sidewalk that makes up the ceiling of the vaulted room underneath the sidewalk, installed new reinforcing steel and formwork to pour a new 10-inch thick concrete slab, and waterproofed all-new and existing materials below grade. The existing brick was reset and correctly pitched to allow for water runoff. The bluestone cap was re-installed over the new sidewalk slab to maintain the historical features of the walkways.
