ROTEC VORTEX Cleaning System is the only government approved, sustainable, and gentle method for preserving the integrity of a historical structure. ESI is committed to innovative approaches within our industry, and we’re excited to provide this leading-edge cleaning system as a service!

ESI is focused on reducing our environmental footprint and ROTEC® VORTEX Cleaning System allows our trained professionals to do so. This historical restoration cleaning system uses extremely low air pressure from 10 to 35 psi mixed with water that can be regulated within the range of 1 to 15 gallons per hour and mixed with extremely fine micro-abrasive powders. Depending on the surface, either micron abrasive glass powder or micro abrasive dolomite powder is used. This process is an extremely gentle, nontoxic and cost-effective method that does not require the use of abusive or harmful chemicals.

ESI has implemented ROTEC® VORTEX Cleaning System on various projects. Recently, the system was used to clean the brick masonry envelope of the Chocolate Factory in Mansfield, MA. ESI decided Quintek’s cleaning method was the most effective option, allowing us to pay special attention to the historical details. The micro-abrasive powders allowed us to remove soil on all the historical brick, terra-cotta, and brownstone surfaces.

ROTEC® VORTEX Cleaning System restores facades and monuments by eliminating excessive soluble grime, graffiti and pollutants while reducing the saturation of the stone.
