At The Meadows Condominiums in Hingham, ESI completed comprehensive exterior restoration repairs to correct water intrusion issues and strengthen the building envelope. Rotted and damaged wood siding was removed and replaced with new wood siding to match the existing façade, and all new siding was professionally painted for a seamless finish.
At the rear elevation, existing siding was removed and disposed of, followed by removal of the original water-resistive barrier. A liquid-applied air and vapor barrier (AVB) was installed to improve moisture and air control performance. New Everlast composite siding was then installed, with final color selections coordinated with the Owner, delivering a durable, low-maintenance exterior solution.
Additionally, following water testing that confirmed waterproofing deficiencies in the original window systems and sealants, all windows throughout the apartment complex were removed and replaced to fully resolve ongoing moisture intrusion concerns and ensure long-term performance.
