Project Information:
Front Elevation, Leak on Room 53, 5th floor:
- Cut and point brick mortar joints.
- Route out the cracks in the stone columns and repair the cracks using repair mortar.
- Remove existing failed sealant where the columns meet the brick. Infill the joint with appropriately sized backer rod and silicone sealant.
- Apply silicone sealant to the windows perimeter joints once the mortar joint shave been properly pointed.
Office Leak:
- Remove displaced brick at the window header. The brick will be toothed out for the new brick to match the existing coursing. Flash the window header with neoprene sheet flashing, including enddams, to the backup wall with termination bar and lap sealant. Install new brick units to closely match the existing brick.
- Remove and dispose of existing copper louvers. Infill the opening with new matching brick toothed in to match existing coursing.
East Elevation:
- Remove displaced brick units and shore up adjacent masonry. Infill the opening with matching brick toothed in to match existing coursing.
Roof:
- Remove existing mortar wash at the chimney caps. Install new mortar wash to the chimney caps.
Bathroom leak:
- Remove the soil to expose the foundation.Pressure wash the foundation wall to remove debris and coat the foundation with a breathable liquid applied waterproof membrane. Once the waterproofing has cured infill the hole with existing soil.
